A life-long user of crutches, Vail Horton knew first-hand the need for an ergonomic crutch. With a team of fellow Entrepreneur Scholar students at University of Portland, he founded Keen--an innovative crutch company. He now runs a non-profit.

The University of Portland’s 2018-2019 Faculty Awards were presented on Tuesday, May 7, at the annual Faculty Awards Dinner.

University of Portland bioethics team wins national competition

The University of Portland bioethics team won the 2017 Bioethics Bowl by defeating Georgetown University in the finals. In only the second year competing, the UP team was undefeated in the Bioethics Bowl.
