CISGO: Global Connections

Bienvenidos, Willkommen, Bienvenue, Huānyíng! The Collaborative for International Studies and Global Outreach is a body of faculty and staff who help to guide and provide mentorship to students, staff, and faculty engaging in international programs at UP. Here you will find information on a variety of international programs available at the University of Portland. We encourage all UP community members to expand their global engagement and competencies in living in and contributing to a multicultural, global world.

Mission

CISGO: Global Connections strengthens learning that empowers individuals by providing opportunities to connect students, faculty, staff, and communities as partners in promoting empathy, intercultural awareness, and international engagement. Through facilitating transformative experiences with local and global perspectives, CISGO: Global Connections creates and supports initiatives that connect the entire UP community with partners around the world.

Vision

CISGO: Global Connections'  vision is a University community where all have the ability to appreciate the value of diversity, work toward building equity in our interconnected world, and uphold a belief in the dignity of all humankind through meaningful international and intercultural connections.
