IEW at the University of Portland is hosted in partnership with International Club and International Student Services. This year, for IEW we will be focusing our efforts on our annual evening of collaboration and celebration, International Night.
Attention all FGEN, international students, friends, supporters, faculty, and staff please come join us to dive deeper into ourselves and connecting with peers/colleagues on campus. We ask you to reflect on your experiences outside of your time at UP through a UNESCO-model story circle. Each participant will share a story of when someone taught them something outside a classroom and how the lesson was imparted.

Please join OIEDI in celebrating the Grand Opening of the Diversity Center and the inaugural Global and Grateful Gallery on Monday, November 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. on the first floor of Buckley Center (in the Diversity Center and the Buckley Gallery). Part of the U.S. State Department, EducationUSA Dialogues mini-series on DEIA, this webinar builds on the discussion of opportunities for mutually beneficial coordination between campus leaders engaged in IE and DEIA programming. Students can learn more about networking with global business leaders and learn from stories that will inspire.

Meet corporate members, international alumni and hear from board member, Mim Phillips who will share ways to connect with her firm Ellis.

Join JSA and International Club for a sushi workshop! This event will allow members a chance to learn how to make sushi rolls and give them the opportunity to eat their own creations. Only the first 60 people who RSVP will be guaranteed a spot. Seniors will receive points towards their graduation cord.

Through student panels and guided small group conversation, we will celebrate culture and the ways we find community at University of Portland.
