Christina Prucha

Head of Collection Services, Clark Library

Christina Prucha joined UP in late fall 2019. She hails from St. Louis, Missouri where she was the Director of Library Services at State Technical College of Missouri. She has an undergraduate degree in French and intercultural communication from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, as well as a master of arts degree in French pedagogy and a master of library science degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She is currently completing degree requirements for a doctorate of education from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri where her research focuses on comparing administrative and librarian perspectives on faculty status for librarians. When not working on her dissertation, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and their dog and spends as much time as possible outside enjoying the breathtaking Pacific Northwest.
