Daman Oberoi

Daman OberoiDaman Oberoi is an alumnus of the University of Portland, where he earned a bachelor’s in electrical engineering in 2004. He spent the next two years at Oregon State University, earning a master’s in computer science. The next 12 years were spent across all four of Intel’s major campuses in Aloha and Hillsboro, where Daman first worked as a software developer, then project manager, and later a people and program manager. Daman served as an adjunct at UP in Fall 2018 and loved it so much that he sought a full-time position in 2019. Daman’s prior teaching roles include serving as tutor for more than 15 years, including owning and managing his own tutoring company, and teaching the new employee orientation course at Intel for seven years. Daman worked with young adults at Intel, managing interns and running the community college internship program. Daman loves all things basketball, including coaching boys’ high school basketball at Catlin Gabel in Portland. He also enjoys hiking, video games, board games, and hanging out with his family and his labradoodle.
