Devin Apland

Devin AplandBefore joining the UP School of Nursing, Devin Apland worked as a critical care nurse across the country. Her focus has primarily been cardiac, neurological, trauma, and respiratory intensive care. Her work has included several research and quality improvement initiatives, as well as working in positions that have allowed her to oversee the orientation of newly graduated registered nurses in the critical care environment. She holds certification in both critical care nursing and neurological nursing. Devin received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Portland, before obtaining her master of science in nursing with a focus on nurse education from Western Governors University a few years later. She has taught as an adjunct at UP and other programs, and thoroughly enjoys working with students. In her off time, Devin enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys baking, reading, and gardening.
