Jonathan Hotchkiss

Capt. Jonathan Hotchkiss earned his commission through the University of Arizona ROTC Program and from there attended undergraduate cyberspace training at Keesler Air Force Base. His first assignment was to Joint Base Andrews (JBA), where he gained experience in network operations, supporting presidential airlift, secretary of defense travel, CSAF change of command, and the 1st Helicopter Squadron. From JBA, Capt. Hotchkiss deployed in support of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), managing a C4ISR network. Upon return from the deployment he was assigned as Flight Commander of the Plan & Programs Section. After three years at JBA, Capt. Hotchkiss transferred to the North American Aerospace Defense Command & US Northern Command to serve as access manager, enabling network operations, after which he rotated to the Joint Cyber Center (JCC) providing daily tactical updates at the strategic level,  enabling assessment of operational impact and supporting continuity of operations. He is a certified Cyberspace Domain Chief, monitoring real-time cyberspace threats and responses in support of homeland defense.
