Capt. Alyssa Heimerman, B.A.

Alyssa HeimermanCaptain Alyssa Heimerman is a career Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the United States Air Force. She earned her B.A. in speech communication and was commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville in 2012. Over the last nine years, Capt. Heimerman has served in a variety of aircraft maintenance positions while stationed in California and New Mexico and during multiple tours overseas. Most recently, she was the Maintenance Operations Officer of the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Squadron, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico where she directed the operations of 503 airmen supporting five airframe types. Capt. Heimerman earned her M.A. in organizational leadership from Brandman University in 2014. When she is not working, she enjoys being outside, hiking, camping, and weight lifting.
