Can I drive my own vehicle for a University trip?

Any student driving their personal vehicle OR a university owned vehicle for University or club-related purposes is required to complete the Driver Safety Training through the platform United Educators.

If you are going to drive a University Vehicle you are required to complete Driver Safety Training through the platform United Educators.

Here are the step-by-step instructions to complete the training.  

  1. To begin the training go to https://learn.ue.org/Login2.aspx
    Enter your login credentials:
    • Username: UP email
    • Password: your password is “Welcome1!”. If  it is the first time you log in to this platform, the system will prompt you to reset your temporary password and set a security question.
  1. On your Dashboard you should see the course “Driver Safety Fundamentals” and "Van Safety"  Please complete the each course . Upon completion, you will receive a confirmation email. 
  2. At the end of the training, you will also receive a certificate of course completion emailed to you. Please be aware that it may take up to 24 hours to receive your certificate.
  3. Upload the Driving Safety Fundamentals Certificate as well as your Driver’s License information and a photo of your Driver’s License here to complete the process for your driving record to be rechecked as required by UP’s insurance carrier.
