Background Narrative

Dr. Rookey's interests include criminology, juvenile delinquency, race and ethnicity, social problems, and social geography. His current scholarship aims to understand how alcohol availability influences the geographical patterning of crime and social control. Dr. Rookey earned a doctorate in sociology from Washington State University.
