Jim Slagle earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Philosophy at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium in 2012. His broad area of research is the nexus where philosophy, science, and religion crash into each other in an awful din of confusion and contempt. He has published articles in The Philosophical Forum, Theology and Science, Philosophical Investigations, and elsewhere. He lives in Portland with his family and his books.
