Dr. Kyle Flann received his PhD in Physiology from the University of Arizona where his research focused on satellite cell biology and skeletal muscle regeneration. He joined the University of Portland biology department in 2009, where he teaches courses primarily in the area of human physiology. Dr. Flann’s research interests are in exercise physiology and biology education. Dr. Flann also serves as one of the pre-health professions advisors for the College of Arts and Science. When not teaching or working with students, Dr. Flann enjoys sports, camping, travel and anything active with his wife and three girls.
