Dr. Kyle Flann teaches courses in human anatomy & physiology and exercise science. Trained as a muscle physiologist, his research background spans satellite cell biology, skeletal muscle myogenesis, angiogenesis, and exercise-induced muscle remodeling.

He earned his Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Arizona, where his work focused on the cellular mechanisms underlying muscle repair and regeneration. He also holds an M.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Microbiology.  He is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the ACSM and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist thru the NSCA.

When not at UP, he can be found spending time coaching, traveling, and adventuring with his wife and 3 beautiful girls.
