You may see his many paintings around campus or walk into one of his fine arts classes, but to find Fr. Mark himself, you'll need to head to Shipstad hall, where he brings his joyful attitude to the students there.
Fr. Mark Ghyselinck, CSC is a native of South Bend, Indiana, an artist and an avid sports fan. He enjoys fishing, golfing, painting, drawing, and watching Notre Dame football and Chicago Cubs baseball. Previously he taught at Holy Cross College, Notre Dame, Indiana, and served at Holy Cross Parish in South Bend, Indiana, and Sacred Heart Parish on Notre Dame’s campus. He resides in Shipstad Hall as the pastoral resident and is a member of the faculty in the department of performing and fine arts.
