About

Patrick Cochran-Green, is a Standardized Patient Educator in the Simulated Health Center at the University of Portland, School of Nursing and Health Innovations. Before becoming the Standardized Patient Educator in the University's Simulated Health Center within the School of Nursing, Patrick Cochran-Green was a Standardized Patient for years at multiple universities of higher education, including University of Portland. Prior to moving to Portland, Patrick was employed for nearly fifteen years with Children's Protective Services in Houston, Texas. Within his time there; he was a Child Abuse/Neglect Investigator, Supervisor, Legal Liaison with the District Attorney's Office, Policy Writer, and Child Safety Specialist. In addition, Patrick is a professional actor who is highly motivated to use his training and the art of storytelling in a purposeful way that promotes empathy and a holistic outlook in future nurses.
