About

Sheila Mason is the Director of the Pamplin Professional Preparation Program (P4). Professional Development and Career Readiness are integrated into the Business curriculum and degree requirements and include 2 courses and an internship-for-credit. Sheila joined the University of Portland Pamplin School of Business in 2023 after a 25-year career at Intel Corporation, both in technical and business roles. Throughout her career, she built and managed teams, and supported career development and mentoring programs. She volunteered extensively with Dress for Success Oregon, helping women build confidence, develop their careers, and become self-sufficient. Sheila has created a Professional Development curriculum that meets the hiring landscape of today, including ways to utilize AI as a resource in the job search. She is also a main connection between the Pamplin School of Business and our amazing alumni and local employers seeking to engage with and support our students.
