The Office of University Events strives to promote University of Portland's mission as it plans, manages, implements, and oversees a variety of events for internal and external audiences.
Major events include: Commencement Weekend, Alumni Reunion, Junior Parents Weekend, Freshman Orientation, and Founders Day. University Events also oversees various building dedications, concerts and festivals, lectures, dignitary visits, athletic pre-game events, literacy and job fairs, academic competitions, and numerous conferences.
University Events is the central source for reserving rooms and resources for internal events as well as off campus visitors.
