Fr. Patrick Hannon, CSC, has taught writing in UP’s English department since 2008. A member of the class of 1982, Fr. Pat has published six collections of essays, his most recent, Such Dizzy Natural Happiness: A Long Loving Look at the Lord’s Prayer, came out this past November. Fr. Pat is known to be a pretty good poker player and enjoys any time he can spend with his friends, his nine brothers and sisters, and his 60 (and counting!) nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. His idea of a great summer day? A pint, a good book, and an Oakland A’s victory.
