"I am the Hall Director in Schoenfeldt Hall, first joining the University of Portland in 2015 as an Assistant Hall Director. I grew up in Hawai'i and hold a Bachelor's Degree from George Fox University in Biology. During my undergraduate career, I served as a Resident Assistant for two years and then as an Assistant Area Coordinator the following year. I am also a recent graduate of UP’s master of arts in higher education and student affairs program.
This is my second year as a leadership coach. My top 5 strengths lie primarily in the relationship building domain, which lends to my approach and style. I rely on honesty and collaboration to craft individualized strategies to support coachees in their formation as leaders. I am especially passionate the emphasis on habits and practice in the leadership certificate program. Habits are crucial, not only in developing leaders, but also in shaping character and who we become as people."
