I also wouldn’t be the confident and competent nurse that I am today without the critical thinking skills and fundamentals I learned. I have to think on my feet quickly and in critical situations. My capstone experience working in the emergency department at Providence Medical Center really helped make for a smooth transition from student to a professional nurse, and I gained connections that made it easy to get a job when I graduated.
