"For the last 7 years, I used the science background I gained at UP to teach high school and middle school science and agriculture–I loved it. However, my husband, Jacob Lampe ('12, Mechanical Engineering), and I have had a long-term goal of exploring by sailboat, so we both stepped back from our jobs this summer, moved onto our boat, and started exploring.
Even though I'm not in the classroom, I can't seem to walk away from my love for science! While we are traveling, I am running a blog all about climate change, sailing, and folks doing important work for the environment.
