Have you received the advice that "you should be networking," but don't know where to start? You’re not the only one! The Career Education Center wants to demystify what networking is, how it works, why it's important and provide tools to make it approachable for everyone.
Essentially, networking is utilizing and building relationships to expand upon career and social opportunities. It is essential to remember that networking is not asking for a job. It is about developing relationships with people in order to achieve career goals. It is an on-going process which continues as your circle of contacts grows.
One way to grow your circle is to connect with other Pilots who have experience in industries that you're interested in.
