“For my internship, I research and lead the database transferring process to Insightly – a CRM system, and MailChimp – an email marketing platform. I also analyze and model data, create audience profiles and statewide maps using Tableau. Interning for Construct is an opportunity for me to know more about the education system and how to implement innovation to it. I wanted to work for a small firm to get a full working experience, which is not really offered in big companies.

With this internship, I have learned how to work with others as a team to successfully roll out the marketing/communication project. I also learned a lot about the expectation, and the volume of work that I have to deal with, especially from a non-profit and/or a small business firm. My favorite moment as an intern was a small get-together/team building event where we get to learn more about each other and the company. From this internship, I personally learned about the kind of work, the volume of work and the expectation from the executives that I might have to face in the real job.”
