“At my internship, I meet with clients and discuss their current financial status and their goals and see how I can help them reach their goals. We do this through a holistic planning process by assessing their insurance needs, helping them budget, providing them with investment vehicles, and helping them save for retirement. I have always wanted to be a financial advisor, so I thought this would be the perfect way to do a trial run for the career I think I want to pursue.

I have learned so much from my internship and I am now a licensed producer to sell life and health insurance. I have also had so much training from some of the best people in the business, everything from phoning language to policies and premiums as well as some investments. This internship has challenged me in more ways than I can count, but the work I’m doing is so rewarding, and the people I have rooting for me and mentoring me make it all worth it. I am continuously learning new things every day, which has helped me grow professionally.”
