Direct Enroll Program
Our partnerships with John Cabot University and the University of Notre Dame Australia are predominantly defined by University of Portland Students directly enrolling as visiting students at the foreign university. Students enroll with other international and/or local degree seeking students as a visiting international student for a term or full year. Students can typically select from the full range of course offerings, appealing to a wide variety of majors. From the student perspective, the experience is similar to an exchange in that they are adapting to a larger foreign university environment, and they will require a high degree of self-reliance and independence. Direct Enroll programs also tend to require a lot of additional administrative support from the UP side, as UP applicants are one of hundreds or thousands joining larger institutions overseas.
