Current Position: Digital Lab CoordinatorMy parents worked very hard to make the transition from their home countries (Ecuador and Mexico) to the United States. They learned English quickly and my Dad worked several jobs at a time to put my brother, sister and I through private schools. Through those experiences, I believed that education was a tool that could help me succeed as a first generation immigrant. My parents were supportive of my decision to leave home to pursue higher education. Their example and their continued support helped me navigate and succeed.
