Activities Fair Coordinator

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the planning of various aspects of the Activities Fair event at the University of Portland, usually scheduled for the first week of school during the fall and spring semesters
  • Manage and implement two Activities Fairs
  • Keep track of all the recognized clubs and organizations and campus departments who will participate in this event
  • Reports to the Program Coordinator for Student Clubs and Organizations
  • Partner with the Office of Student Activities on the creation and distribution of marketing and advertising materials
  • Written and verbal communication with all clubs and departments participating in the event

 

General Qualifications and Requirements

  • Full-time undergraduate student
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work individually during the summer
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of UP campus and community
  • Written final evaluation of preparation and event management responsibilities

 

Time Commitment and Required Availability

  • Available for weekly check-ins and post-orientation debrief
