Deferring Enrollment

Students request deferred enrollment for a variety of reasons: service and travel opportunities, familial reasons, and personal growth (to name a few). 

Instructions for requesting a deferment are as follows:

  1. Confirm enrollment for your original entry term (if you have not done so already). 
  2. Fill out the Request for Deferred Enrollment form. The form requires that you log in using your username and password for the applicant portal. If you are having problems logging in, please call the Office of Admissions at 503.943.7147 during office hours.
  3. After you submit your request, the Office of Admissions will send you an email with our decision.
