First Generation College Students

First Generation (FGEN) students are defined by the University of Portland as those students where neither parent or guardian has earned a four-year college degree. Our First Generation community serves as a resource for all FGEN students and families. Throughout the year we host student programs, workshops, events and more!

Diversity & Inclusion programs

Diversity & Inclusion Programs (DIP) engage and educate students and the University of Portland community on issues, topics, and events related to diversity and inclusion. DIP's programs, events, and speakers celebrate and enrich the educational experience for all students and help to create a welcoming campus for all.
