Advice for prospective students: If possible, visit campus. Walking around and speaking with current students is a great way to picture what life would be like at UP.
Favorite place to eat in Portland? Life of Pie Pizza on Williams. The Margherita Pizza and Kale Salad is the BEST combo.
Favorite local weekend activity? I love going to the Portland and Vancouver Farmer’s Markets. They typically run May-October and have fresh fruits and veggies, treats, and local crafts.
Favorite spot on campus: The Student Lead Unity Garden (SLUG). You can watch beautiful sunsets, pick fresh fruits and veggies, and lounge on the grass with views of the St. John’s Bridge.
