Advice for prospective students: Say yes to everything! There are so many wonderful things to do in college and getting involved early will make your experience so much more fulfilling. College is all about academics, but building community is just as important.

Favorite Portland area attraction or destination: The Portland Art Museum is one of my favorite places in the city. There’s always so much amazing art on display and great traveling exhibits every year! It’s such a tranquil space in the midst of downtown.

Favorite place to eat in Portland: I love Pizza Thief! They have some of the best pizza in Portland and always have amazing seasonal options with the great local toppings. My favorite is the Wildwood which comes topped with mushrooms and rosemary.

Favorite local weekend activity: Spending time in nature! If I’m in Portland I love getting out to Mt. Tabor or Forest Park, but if I want to get out of the city I love going to the coast and spending time in Cannon Beach!
