What are you most excited about for your Next Port?

I am excited about focusing on and studying topics that I find fascinating, as well as being surrounded by people who are also passionate about optometry.

What is your favorite memory from UP?

Some of my favorite memories from UP are taking road trips to the coast. It was great spending time with a few of the remarkable people I met at UP and getting to know them better. It was also an opportunity to see more of Oregon and the breathtaking environment.

Was there a faculty or staff member, or department that specially helped you land your Next Port?

I am grateful for the College of Arts and Sciences in general and all of the amazing professors I had during my time at UP. The Intro to Health Professions course helped me to explore many options in healthcare that I hadn't previously considered and ultimately led me to pursue optometry.
