Grad Fair
Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Franz Hall. This event provides graduating students with essential information about Commencement, the opportunity to order personalized graduation announcements through Jostens, and the chance to address any graduation-related questions.

AfterUP: Cap & Gown Pickup
Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bauccio Commons. Graduating students can collect their caps and gowns, learn about alumni engagement, complete a post-graduation survey, and receive a free gift from UP Alumni.

Lavender Celebration
Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in Orrico Hall. The Lavender Celebration honors LGBTQ+ graduates, recognizing their achievements in a supportive and affirming space. Graduates, families, and supporters are invited to celebrate their academic journey and contributions to the UP community.

Teach Toss / Biz Friz Frisbee Toss
Friday, May 2, at 11 a.m. in Franz Hall (4th Floor), School of Education and Business students compete in a Frisbee toss from the balconies, aiming for targets on the academic quad. This fun rivalry between the schools is exclusive to Education and Business students.

Honors Senior Program Lunch
On Friday, May 2, 2025, at noon in the Pilot House, Honors students and their families will gather to celebrate their achievements. The event includes a luncheon and program, during which students will be presented with their bachelor's hood and medallion in recognition of their hard work and dedication. This is an invitation-only event.

School of Nursing & Health Innovations Pinning Ceremony
Friday, May 2, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. in the Chiles Center, the School of Nursing will host its Pinning Ceremony, a cherished tradition honoring the dedication and achievements of graduating nursing students. During this special event, students will receive their nursing pin, symbolizing their transition into the profession and commitment to compassionate care. Family, friends, and faculty are invited to celebrate this milestone.

First Generation Student Pinning Ceremony
The First Generation Pinning Ceremony honors the achievements of first-generation college graduates. The event includes a special pinning ceremony, allowing FGEN students to celebrate their milestone with family, friends, and fellow first-gen graduates.

ROTC Commissioning Ceremony
Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Bauccio Commons, the ROTC Commissioning Ceremony will honor the dedication and achievements of cadets as they take their oath of office and transition into commissioned officers. This time-honored tradition celebrates their commitment to service and leadership.

Senior Toast
Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 5:45 p.m., the Senior Toast will bring together graduates for a special celebration of their accomplishments and the journey ahead. Surrounded by classmates, faculty, and friends, seniors will raise a glass in recognition of their hard work, cherished memories, and bright futures. This beloved tradition marks the transition from student to alumnus with gratitude and excitement.
