The email below is a general version of the message sent to undergraduate students. Some personalized details have been omitted.
Hello!
The University is excited to welcome family members, friends, and supporters to our 2025 Commencement Weekend! As a reminder, most Commencement Weekend events are not ticketed and all are warmly welcomed to attend.
Due to stronger-than-anticipated demand for Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony participation, the University will offer five (5) Commencement Ceremony tickets per graduate for distribution to their family members, friends, and supporters. (Remember, the graduating student does not need a ticket for the Commencement Ceremony.)
The University anticipates that additional tickets may become available at a later date. To request additional tickets, please tap the appropriate box on the Graduation Checklist. Note that additional tickets are not guaranteed, and the process for distributing additional tickets (should they be offered) will be outlined in a future communication.
As you complete the Graduation Checklist, please only request the number of tickets that you will actually use. Tickets are non-transferable, and requesting tickets that will not be used by your own family members, friends, and supporters is not permitted. Thank you in advance for adherence to this policy.
Finally, the University will simulcast the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony live in an on-campus location near the Chiles Center. The simulcast experience is designed for family members, friends, and supporters who do not have a ticket to the Commencement Ceremony, but nevertheless wish to take part in all of the fun of Commencement Weekend. The simulcast experience might also be the perfect viewing spot for little ones and others who would rather not attend the event within the Chiles Center.
Please select the link to complete the Commencement Checklist. Completing this checklist is required to order your custom UP cap & gown, tickets, select the events you want to attend, and more! The deadline to finish this checklist is Monday, March 3 at 11:45 p.m.
