Vivian and Curtis Williams Endowed Scholarship

Curtis’ late wife, Vivian, was a ’54 UP School of Nursing grad. Their daughter wants to see her mother and father honored with an endowed scholarship fund because Vivian was one of the first African American nurses to attend UP. They were a very humble couple who had a passion for UP and attended many alumni events. Vivian was originally a hospital nurse, then transitioned to a visiting nurse and eventually a school nurse, as they had five children.
