Over the summer 2022, many of the University Community members who participated in NCORE 2022 joined one another for three conversations on the following day.
June 27: Noon to 1:30
July 14: 9 to 10:30
July 27: 3 to 4:30
The OIEDI hosted these conversations and is developing a shared document on potential projects, speakers, and other promising ideas the emerged from NCORE.
The University of Portland retained the services of Dr. Liz Ortiz to fulfill a recommendation that resulted from an independent investigation following concerns raised by the former Vice President for Human Resources. (Seehttps://www.up.edu/public-affairs/board-report.html.) Dr. Ortiz and members of the University President’s Leadership Cabinet hosted a Town Hall about the Report on March 17, 4-5:30 p.m. in Dundon Berchtold Hall Brian Doyle Auditorium (a live online stream was also available). The event was not recorded to allow for an open dialogue.
