Web Services

Information Services provides an integrated strategy for the development, maintenance, and use of the Web as a strategic tool for the University of Portland. The Web Services team offers thoughtful, proactive, accessible web-based solutions to the needs of the UP community. The core offerings of Web Services include:

• Support for up.edu. We work with the academic and professional offices of the University as well as Marketing and Communications to provide a modern, dynamic, and accessibility friendly web presence.
• PilotsUP, the university intranet. This web resource offers a home to meaningful, personalized web content and centralized communication for UP students, faculty, and staff.
• Developing customized web applications. We work with UP community members to build custom web solutions to meet the specific and specialized needs of the University.
• Web form consultation and support. We provide training and collaboration for Web form software including Dynamic Forms, Qualtrics, and Eventbrite.
• The UP mobile app. Our mobile application displays class information, grades, directions, communication options and more for the UP student body.
• 3^rd party software integration. We’ll work with outside vendors to integrate 3^rd party solutions into our existing web infrastructure.
