The Elsie Franz Finley Simulated Health Center and the Nelson Family Simulated Ambulatory Care Center are designed to prepare graduate and undergraduate nursing students with hands-on and real-world experiences. Student nurses will engage in simulations of acute patient care, ambulatory care, specialty care, and home health settings.

This state-of-the-art model health system features 17 acute-care beds, 6 high-fidelity simulation suites, 6 debriefing rooms, 2 control centers, as well as a simulated home health apartment, a telehealth suite, a behavioral health suite, and primary care clinic offices.

The School of Nursing, founded in 1934, is celebrating its 85th anniversary during the 2019-20 academic year. In celebration of the anniversary, the School of Nursing will be hosting a speaker series.
