The University of St. Thomas announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Kelly to its Board of Trustees on July 1st.
University of St. Thomas President Rob Vischer welcomed Dr. Kelly, along with six additional appointees, saying: “Our new trustees are exceptional leaders in a wide range of fields. They bring diverse perspectives and a commitment to the whole-person formation that drives the impact of a St. Thomas education. We are honored to welcome them onto our board.”
The announcement dovetailed with the Association of Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASACCU) annual conference being hosted at the University, which gathered representatives from 28 schools to discuss the challenges facing academia in today's world.
“I’m deeply honored to join the Board of Trustees at the University of St. Thomas,” said Dr. Kelly. “I look forward to the ways in which my service will deepen UP’s connection to our Catholic higher education peers, and strengthen our understanding of emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities.”
