We are pleased to announce that the call for submissions for the 12th Annual ASACCU Best Practices for Mission Integration Awards is now open!
We hope that you will consider submitting a program for the awards, and ask that you consider your submission in light of this year’s conference theme—Cultivating the Mind and Heart.
Recipients of this year’s awards will receive a complimentary registration (limit of 2 per area) to the 2022 ASACCU Conference (June 21-24) held at University of Portland in Portland, Oregon. In addition, recipients will be recognized at the conference and are asked to consider presenting their program in a session at the Conference.
Student affairs professionals at ASACCU member institutions are invited to submit programs for judging by current practitioners in the following areas:
PLEASE NOTE: Programs submitted for consideration should be original to your campus. Programs that are developed based on common curriculum and objectives, especially as developed by outside vendors or companies, will not be considered. Each individual submission should be made in only one category.
Judging for each area will include the following criteria: positive impact on student learning; successful demonstration in addressing student needs and/or campus needs; originality and creativity; demonstration of at least one of ASACCU’s Principles of Good Practice; evidence of Catholic identity and/or mission elements; and practical use of research and/or assessment. Please note that judging is based on a rubric developed for each of these categories, and submission should address each one.
Submission requirements:
All required application materials must be submitted by March 18, 2022.
Please submit application materials to Kennedy Rude.
By recognizing certain practices or programs as excellent, we issue a challenge to student affairs professionals at Catholic institutions to provide exemplary service to our students. We hope you accept this invitation and submit your good work as a best practice of Catholic student affairs. We would encourage practitioners who have submitted projects in the past and were not selected to reapply as many of the winning selections were separated from other submissions by a fraction of a point.
Questions regarding submissions can be directed to Mary Geller.
Thank you,
The Mission Integration Steering Committee
