Conference attendees will stay in Fields Hall and Schoenfeldt Hall.
Fields Hall is named after Fred and Suzanne (Sue) Fields, and Schoenfeldt Hall is named after Sue's brother Rev. Arthur ("Padre") Schoenfeldt, C.S.C., a longtime University priest who passed away in December of 2007. Although one building, these two residence halls have very unique and distinct identities. Fields Hall is designated as female wings and Schoenfeldt Hall as male wings. The residence halls opened in August 2009 and are the first LEED Gold certified residence halls on campus.
Shared amenities of Fields Hall and Schoenfeldt Hall include one front desk, 24-hour common space lounges, wing-specific study rooms, workout room, kitchenette and dining area, chapel, and outdoor plaza. Bicycle parking is also available. Views from the residence halls include the Willamette River, the St. John's Bridge, and Mount Hood. Outdoors, there are sand volleyball and basketball courts for conference attendee’s use.
