For situations involving sexual or gender-based harassment, misconduct, and violence, a student who is the alleged victim/survivor is referred to as the “complainant.” A student who is the alleged perpetrator of the sexual or gender-based harassment, misconduct, or violence is referred to as the “respondent.”
