What is StockUP?
StockUP is a shopping-style food pantry that provides free access to supplemental food and hygiene necessities for UP students. StockUP’s mission is to address food insecurity on our campus.

Where on campus is StockUP located?
The pantry is part of the Wellness Center and is in Lower Level of Orrico Hall.

Who can use StockUP?
Any currently enrolled UP student who is taking classes can utilize StockUP

How often can I use StockUP?
StockUP is open for walk-in hours, Mondays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm during Fall 2024 semester, or by appointment by emailing stockup@up.edu. StockUP is not open for walk-in hours during breaks. Due to our current inventory volume, each student can use StockUP once per week to ensure that we have plenty for everyone.

What do I do when I get to StockUP?
When you come to the food pantry, you will be asked to check in at the table near the door once you enter the Lower Level of Orrico Hall. Please be ready to provide your student email each time you visit the pantry.

How much food can I bring home?
Bring a bag! Currently, students can fill up one bag of groceries to bring home. Please only take the kinds of food you will use so we have plenty for everyone.

Should I walk in or make an appointment?
You can come in at your convenience during our walk-in hours. You can also make an appointment by emailing StockUP@up.edu if your schedule conflicts with walk-in hours, or if you would like to speak with a member of the Care Team about more long-term food insecurity solutions.

What kind of food does StockUP have?
StockUP currently has an assortment of snacks and pantry staples. We envision having a limited supply of perishables and household and hygiene items soon. Our current inventory is heavily dependent on donation.
