Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is an academic cultural ambassador program that provides funding for students to do research, teach English, or attend graduate school abroad after completing their baccalaureate degree. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things, and the way they think.
This award requires an institutional endorsement. Contact the Office of Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement, 503.943.8264 or scholars@up.edu, if you are student wishing to inquire about how to secure an institutional endorsement.
