IBC meetings are open to the public consistent with protection of privacy and proprietary interests. If you would like to attend an IBC meeting, please contact IBC@up.edu to confirm the meeting time and location/format. IBC meeting minutes are available and can be obtained by sending your request to IBC@up.edu.
For a project to be reviewed at the next scheduled IBC meeting, it will need to be received at least two full weeks prior to the meeting. If a proposal raises particular issues that the IBC determines are not fully addressed in the submitted materials, the researcher may be asked to submit additional information, clarify a point, or make revisions.
The IBC does not meet during June or July. Please plan accordingly and submit any proposals that require review by March 30. Proposals submitted by March 30 will be reviewed at the April IBC meeting and, if revisions are required, may be resubmitted for review at the May IBC meeting
The IBC typically meets the second or fourth week of the month during Fall and Spring semesters (August-May.) Proposals will be reviewed at the next scheduled meeting if received at least two full weeks prior to the meeting. A response to submitted proposals will be sent within a week of the meeting.
The IBC does not meet during June or July.
