Ski with Outdoor Pursuits

During most Spring semesters, the Outdoor Pursuits Program organizes a luxury bus to transport UP students up to Mt. Hood for some skiing and snowboarding.  Due to challenges posed by COVID, the ski bus program will not include transportation in 2022.  It will be an opportunity for students to purchase lift tickets and rentals at a reduced rate.  Please see below for details.  

Important Information 

• All Ski & Snowboard trips are non-refundable.
• Ski & Snowboard trip sign-ups must be made in advance at the Outdoor Pursuits Office.
• The prices outlined below are the group rates offered by Mt. Hood Meadows for groups of 15+
• Must be a current UP student to attend.

Special Information for Spring 2022

The ski bus is a bit different this year, here are those changes.  

• All trips take place during "night skiing" time on select Fridays & Saturdays.  This is a time duration of 2pm-9pm.  
• Transportation is not provided.  Self-transportation is the only way to get to Meadows  
  • You are allowed to arrive and leave anytime between 3pm-9pm.  
  • You should be confident driving in hazardous snow conditions, have snow-chains in your car (or 4-wheel drive w/ traction tires) and know how to use them.
• When you arrive you'll head to the rendezvous to meet the trip leader to receive your gear voucher and lift ticket. 
• When you leave be sure to check in with the trip leader either in-person, by text, or phone to let us know.  Otherwise we'll call you at 1am to make sure you're home safe. 
• Outdoor Pursuits has to coordinate information with Meadows a minimum of 6 days in advance, this makes late changes and switches difficult.  We encourage you to sign up sooner rather than later.  

Ski and Snowboard Trip Prices

All of the Ski & Snowboard prices come direct from Mt. Hood Meadows.  We are able to sell lift tickets and equipment vouchers at cost for these events.  

Helmets & snow goggles are not included, Helmets may be available at Meadows by request/additional cost.  

Lift Ticket = $49

Equipment Rental Package $44 (comes with ski, poles, boots OR snowboard, boots)

All trips have concluded for Spring 2022.
