This coverage is provided at no cost to full-time employees on the first of the month following their start date. Coverage is designed to continue an employee's income in the event an accident or illness that is not work-related causes the employee to become partially or fully disabled. Benefit payments, equal to 60% of monthly salary up to a maximum benefit of $6,250 per month, begin 90 days following the onset of partial or total disability.
