Engineering is a field that impacts every aspect of life, including society, politics, and technology. If you have considered the study of engineering at the college level, the Engineering Marvels course is an excellent way to preview what’s ahead. You will explore various disciplines of engineering through academic lectures and classroom discussions. You will gain practical experience through hands-on projects that involve designing, building, and testing. You will learn how to conduct research using design thinking and the engineering design process.
Students will explore the engineering profession, including careers and aspects of engineering education. Students will gain hands-on experience working in small teams with projects that include the design-build-test cycle. The projects will use core concepts from computer science, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
