On-Campus Activities

Life at the University of Portland’s Pre-College Program isn’t just about academics—it’s also about building friendships, making memories, and experiencing what life on a college campus is really like. From the moment students arrive, they are welcomed into a supportive and energetic community filled with opportunities to grow, explore, and have fun.

Evenings and weekends are packed with engaging, student-centered activities designed to help participants connect with their peers, build leadership skills, and experience the vibrant UP campus. Whether you're outgoing or more introverted, there's something for everyone to enjoy outside of the classroom.

All students must complete the Beauchamp Recreation Use Waiver prior to their arrival on campus. If a student is under the age of 16 his/her access to the facility will be restricted to the use of multi-purpose courts. We are sorry, but we cannot provide access to the fitness center or group class studios for students under the age of 16.

  • If a student is a minor, the form must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Students who do not complete the waiver will not be given access to the center. Once on campus, students will be expected to sign in with the front desk every time they enter the facility.

On-campus activities are a core part of the Pilots Pre-College experience, helping students feel at home and make the most of their summer. It’s more than a program—it’s a glimpse into college life, friendships that last beyond the week, and unforgettable moments that shape your journey ahead.

Come curious. Leave connected.
