The Fall 2025 housing selection process for rising sophomores will begin in February, 2025. This timeline gives students ample time during their freshmen year to develop their relationship with their current roommate, meet others, and become familiar with UP's residence hall communities. These are all important steps before determining one's housing and roommate arrangements for sophomore year!
In support of the residential nature of UP and our emphasis on community, and based on longstanding research linking on campus housing with student and academic success in college, all full-time undergraduate students are required to live on campus during their first and second years at UP. For the purposes of this requirement, class year is based on total number of academic years in college.

On campus housing is also available for our juniors, seniors and graduate students, and many of these students choose to continue living on campus for their entire time at UP.
