"International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the US Department of State and US Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences."
-US Department of State - Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs
IEW at the University of Portland is hosted in partnership with International Club and International Student Services
The slogan for this year's IEW is "Together At Last". Participants will be able to connect with others through events and celebrate and learn about the various cultures around the world, an essential step as we work to advocate for the BIPOC community and for diversity.
We hope that you will enjoy our educational and recreational cultural events! Visit Engage to view and join activities.
